The Association was founded in 2016 by three Costa Rican ladies who wanted to celebrate their cultural roots and bring our community together.

Starting with the Independence Day party that year, they invited Ticos, Ticas and their friends and families together to celebrate, enjoy traditional food, and dance the night away!

​

Since then, the association has gone from strength to strength, grown its membership considerably, taken on its own catering, and formed its own traditional folkloric dance group.  

​

The association is run solely by dedicated volunteers, putting on three annual events for the community, as well as other cultural events throughout the year.

​

We work closely with the Embassy of Costa Rica in the UK, and we are proud to represent our unique community.
